A self-portrait. I don't do these often but I was making so many personal photographs while away in Greece recently, turning my camera on to everything around me, that I shot a couple of myself too. This was shot on the outskirts of Athens.

Finally finished updating my print portfolio for upcoming meetings. Had a new book made and printed all new prints from scratch. Slow job but worth it, and loving the new printer I bought.

Shoot-wise work has been a mix of music & portrait shoots, an album artwork session, and some personal snaps out & about - a few of which are below...

Personal Photographs - Coney Island, NYC.

I was editing some work and going over some older photographs when I found these I took three years ago. They are all taken during one day walking around Coney Island in NYC. I've never done anything with them, or even had good prints made yet, but I liked the photographs and thought I'd put them up here. These are just rough scans.

Posting the portraits of Joshua Rifkin yesterday reminded I had this photograph that I took while in Boston too. I think it was the day after I did the Rifkin portrait shoot, I was just walking down by the river. I guess I just liked the scene. I always take a few photographs of the city I'm in if I'm away working, I'll try to stay an extra day if there is time. These are the photographs that usually make up the 'Personal' section on my portfolio site, photographs grabbed quickly while I'm away.

I've spent much of the day sorting out recent work, editing etc, and looking over a few personal images shot over the last few months too.
Just thought I'd post this personal image shot while away on assignment in Boston U.S. before Christmas. I think it's my favourite recent personal image.
