Update;
Only a couple of weeks now until the exhibition of my music work at Attitude Gallery in Congleton at the start of July. All the prints are currently being framed. Among the artists featured in the exhibition are The Killers, Kasabian, Oasis, Portishead, Ian Brown, Ellie Goulding, Johnny Marr, and this portrait of Kaiser Chiefs...

Along with my better known images, I edited my archives to produce to some portraits that have never been published, so some of the images on display will be available for the first time as edition prints. I will be there in person for the invite preview show on the evening of the 2nd July, and there for some of the weekend on the 4th & 5th July.

Michael Robert Williams Photography Exhibition;

Update;
Those who have followed regular news and other posts on my Facebook page will know that I have been planning an exhibition in my hometown of Congleton, in Cheshire. This came about after a talk with the gallery owners and is now set - it will be at Attitude Gallery in Congleton at the start of July.
The exhibition will concentrate on certain areas of my work, specifically my music portraits and the main focus on UK artists including Kasabian, Oasis, Ian Brown, Johnny Marr, and others. But there will be a few US artists in the mix too, such as portraits of The Killers. I have been going over my archives and have pulled out a number of images, some of which are unpublished and this will be the first time some of these have been exhibited and available as edition prints.
I will be there in person for the invite preview show on the evening of the 2nd July, and there for some of the weekend on the 4th & 5th July.

Emmanuel Adebayor’s ‘SEA Foundation’

My portrait of Premier League footballer Emmanuel Adebayor is part of the brand identity of Adebayor’s ‘SEA Foundation’.

‘I want to do everything I can to make my country and my continent move forward.

The SEA Foundation has been set up to encourage creativity, inspire innovation and help communities build a better future. This is about a new mindset; it is about seeing Africa differently.’

Adebayor is currently at Tottenham Hotspur, and previously played for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City. He was voted African Footballer of the Year for 2008, and is currently Togo's all-time top goalscorer.
