Me Profiled In 'Digital Photographer' Magazine.

All about self-promotion right now...
The latest issue of 'Digital Photographer'
magazine (UK, Issue 95) is just out, and has a five-page profile on yours truly, interviewed about my background and talking about my work.

Also, my website has had an update too, a number of new portraits added, including Beach House, Daisy Dares You, Lightspeed Champion, and Delphic.

Hi Michael. I am a student studying Art A Level and our Unit is based on Portrait Photography. I really admire your work. You contrast between using black and white to colour and your use of lighting captures an intensity in your images. I will be using your work as research and I wanted to ask that when you are in a photoshoot, what is the most important thing for you to be able to take such interesting photos.

Hi - thank you for your comment, I'm happy you like the work.
On a shoot a number of elements have to come together for the shoot to work - including the subject & photographer, the location, light, idea..... all are important to get the final photographs right.
